Consulting

Sunrise offers a range of telecommunications related consulting services. Our consultants have expertise in both fixed and mobile telephony, ranging from mediation, prepaid and postpaid billing, settlement and international roaming to voice over IP convergence.

We provide project management for development and deployment projects, we carry out requirements analysis, make recommendations, prepare RFQs/RFPs, manage RFQ/RFP based vendor selection (tendering) and we provide assistance with Japanese market entry.

Software Development

In addition to ready made software, Sunrise also offers custom software development services. We design and develop custom telephony software and libraries for MacOS X, BSD and Linux according to customer requirements. Utilising a network of open source developers we further offer enhancement, customisation, localisation and maintenance of readily available open source telephony software such as Asterisk and Callweaver.

Telephony Integration

Sunrise offers telephony system integration services for SMEs. We integrate both custom developed and readily available open source telephony software into your IT infrastructure, also including integration with legacy telephone systems and building PHP/Java based user and management interfaces to run inside a web browser on your desktop computers.

JATE Type Approvals

Sunrise offers Japanese (JATE) type approval handling services for analog and ISDN telephony devices. We prepare your application and handle the JATE consultation process directly with JATE here in Tokyo. In many cases we are able to reuse existing laboratory test reports which you may have prepared for type approval in other countries.

Support for PBX · Telephony Server · VPN installations

Sunrise provides commercial support for IP-PBX, Telephony Server and VPN installations, setup and configuration on MacOS X, BSD and Linux.
